What this site is

An independent educational site about gold (XAUUSD) trading. We explain concepts and give free calculators. We do not give personal investment advice and we do not tell you what to buy or sell.

How we check numbers

Every worked example in an article or on a tool page is recomputed with code before publication and compared with the result of the matching calculator. Formulas are stated next to each tool so you can verify them by hand. All examples use hypothetical figures and say so.

Sources

When we state a fact about the world (a regulator's position, a unit definition), we name the source and link to it where one exists. We prefer official and primary sources over blogs and broker marketing. If we could not verify something, we say so instead of guessing.

What we will not publish

Profit or return claims, testimonials or reviews we cannot verify, invented statistics, or content that tells readers to trade.

Conflicts of interest

We may earn commissions from affiliate links to trading-related services. Each such link carries a disclosure and the attribute rel="sponsored nofollow noopener". Commissions never change a formula or a figure, and every tool works without signing up for anything. See How we make money.

Corrections

If a number, formula or statement is wrong, we correct the page, and for a material error we note what changed and when. Each article shows when it was last updated.

Local law

Rules on offering and promoting leveraged products differ by country. We show partner links only to visitors in countries where we have not found a restriction on promoting them, which is a best-effort filter and not legal clearance, and we cannot give legal advice.
